Clouds on the horizon

A poll earlier this year showed that 42 per cent of Americans believe we're in the End Times.

Chicago politics was clearly demonstrated during the ACA debacle.  As we find out what’s really in the bill, the truth starts to emerge.  In reality it wasn’t written by the Democrats or Obama.  They merely took credit for a disaster in sheep’s clothing.  It was written by big pharma, big, insurance, etc.  We are starting to see the effect on the American middle class.  Higher taxes, despite a campaign pledge.  And now, despite campaign pledges (if you like your plan, you can keep it), we may lose our coverage – or the plan changes so much that you won’t want it.

About one in 10 employers plan to drop health coverage when key provisions of the new health care law kick in less than two years from now, according to a survey to be released Tuesday by the consulting company Deloitte.

Nine percent of companies said they expect to stop offering coverage to their workers in the next one to three years, the Wall Street Journal reported. Around 81 percent said they would continue providing benefits and 10 percent said they weren't sure.  Washington Times

There is a garbage culture out there, where we pour garbage on people. Then the pollsters run around and take a poll and say, do you smell anything?

Although the economy isn’t helping Obama, his style is really hurting him.

NY Times/CBS poll (of registered voters, not likely voters) are both stark and important. In April, Obama had a 42-45 favorable/unfavorable rating, itself a shock given his vastly higher favorable ratings only a few months before. Now, he has a favorable rating of only 36% and an unfavorable rating of 48%.

Rather the cause of his decreased likeability is his negative campaigning, both in person and on the air. He is now no longer the sunny, optimistic, friendly person he portrayed himself as being in 2008. Instead, a nasty, surly, angry image has taken over.

Obama's rating drive.

Every poll shows that most journalists are Democrats.
