In reading about the debt struggle in the House and Senate.  I am left wondering who is right and who is wrong.

Let’s see…

17% of US voters think the country is on the right track

An UPI poll shows that a Plurality say Congress is corrupt.

There is a significant deviation between the rich and poor

Republicans voted for the stuff the now blame on Obama

And government debt is out of control.  As we head in a looming recession (yes we are likely headed into another recession Here), the Fed is out of bullets.

Blue = Population

Red = Gov’t Debt

Green = Consumer Debt

Note total US debt to GDP is close to 400%

For a sane discussion of debt see AGIC Burden of Debt

Is the Congress going to actually do the right thing or is this going to become the Pontius Pilate Pass the Buck Act of 2011? Erick Erickson

Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise. Give lifting that person your best shot, but don't hang around long enough for his or her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead, surround yourself with optimistic people.
