Of course it is a newspaper and newspapers are in a bit of trouble.  By July of 2009:

105 newspapers shut.

10,000 newspaper jobs were lost.

Print ad sales fell 30% in Q1 '09.

23 of the top 25 newspapers circulation declined by 7% to 20%
