Tina posted a comment that may have needed a little though before publishing, implying/accusing me of copying Rush Limbaugh’s talking points:
“QuoteFish - do you really intend to promote the ignorance of Rush Limbaugh on your blog???”
Ouch! I guess I’ll have to subject myself to torture and start watching the Doberman on MSNBC. You can read the post and comments here: Quotefish - Gov't Motors
In a post about Sotomayor, she issues a challenge to read the actual text
“Be careful of comments taken out of context!!
Read the whole speech, then tell me what you find offensive: UC Berkeley”
I have, (as if I haven’t…). I also read the IPCC report. Sonambulus! I am left with more questions about her after reading the entire speech, including the context. If you are interested you can also read her speech it here: NYT. The posting and comments are here: Quotefish - Never Regret
“We need somebody who’s got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it’s like to be a young teenage mom, the empathy to understand what it’s like to be poor or African-American or gay or disabled or old -- and that’s the criterion by which I’ll be selecting my judges.” BHO
Too much Howard Zinn in history and too little civics in high school.
In doing some background research, I naturally looked for a ‘conservative’ view and a ‘liberal’ view. Newt Gingrich is an intelligent person. You can read his essay here: Newt Ruth Marcus writes for the Washington Post (since 1984). Her comments are here: WP And a more recent editorial is here Wash Post.
The story of Frank Ricci, and Ms. Sotomayor’s part in his life, is interesting. Profile. The case details, and the story behind the story, is on a WSJ blog. As always there’s more to the story than in the paper, on Television, or the Huffington Post, or some blog.

So, I guess my comments were too inflammatory to post?
No, I just take some time to look at the substance of the comment. There’s always email, and maybe, just maybe, I’m not into instant, continuous feedback. See Texting Impact. Comments on comments?
It kinda’ seems like screaming at the TV to me. For what it’s worth…
Back to work, enjoy the day!
How many legs does a dog have if you call the tail a leg? Four; calling a tail a leg doesn't make it a leg.
